KINDERGARTEN
Room 5 – at the far west end of the church’s lowest level 

Fred and Cheryl Schaefer, 20 year veterans of the All Souls Kindergarten Program, use the Around the Church, Around the Year curriculum to teach children all about their church home. Puppets, yoga and the arts enhance this curriculum. Children in the Kindergarten Program attend a brief Chapel service from 11:00-11:20 am most Sunday mornings. Because this worship time is important, we ask that parents and caregivers drop off or pick up their children from the classroom either before or after the scheduled Chapel time. Interruptions in our children’s worship are highly discouraged. Parents are always invited to worship with their children in Chapel. After Chapel, the kindergarteners return to their classroom for a music and arts program.

*The first Sunday of each month, the kindergarteners will attend the Story for All Ages in the Sanctuary at approximately 11:55 with their teachers. There will be no Children’s Chapel on these Sundays.

CLASSROOM PARENTS Parents or guardians of children in kindergarten are asked to serve at least six times throughout the year assisting teachers during either the first or second service. Parents should check-in with teachers on Sunday at 9:55 am or 11:15 on their chosen dates. Sign up sheets are available in the classroom every Sunday morning. Please sign up in advance.

Participants in the Kindergarten Program must have a completed Registration Form and Medical Release on file or fill out a Visitor’s Card each week when attending.
